UVU Grad Session

While going through old hard drives recently, I stumbled across these graduation photos I took for a close friend back in 2019 at BYU–Utah and I was reminded how much I genuinely love documenting seasons like this.

There’s something so exciting about graduation sessions. They sit right in the middle of nostalgia and anticipation - celebrating everything it took to get here while also standing on the edge of something entirely new. Even years later, I still love the energy of these sessions: the excitement, the relief, the pride, the uncertainty, and all the dreams quietly waiting in the background.

Now that life has brought us to Tucson, I’m so excited to begin photographing grads here in the desert. The golden light, mountain views, and warm evenings make such a beautiful backdrop for celebrating this season of life, and I would absolutely love to create something meaningful for local graduates stepping into their next chapter.

So if you’re graduating soon — first of all, congratulations. And second… when's our session??
